2015 Club Championships Highlights

 11 September 2015

A reminder of arrangements for the Club Championships tomorrow at Grangemouth Stadium:

TIMETABLE
The final timetable for tomorrow is below. The U9 standing long jump has moved to 11.15 AM and the triple jump is now at 3.00 PM.

Track events will be seeded based on age group, with the heats ordered youngest to oldest. In all long jumps competitions, males and females will compete in different pits.

Please listen for any changes in the timetable. If you have a clash of field/track events please report to your field event, you will be collected from there when you are due on track. You should then return to your field event ASAP.

DECLARATIONS
Declarations open at 10.15 AM in the stadium cafe and will close 30 minutes before the published start time of each event. Please declare for all your events at your first visit.

Vest numbers should be worn front and back with each number secured by 4 safety pins, except high jump where only a front number is required.

INDOOR TRACK
The indoor track has not been booked. Athletes wanting to warm-up indoors should pay at the stadium reception to get access.

MEDLEY RELAY
Teams for the Medley Relay were drawn randomly at the end of the training session on Wednesday night and are available on the club website via the link below. If anyone is no longer available for the relay, please let Ian know tomorrow.

SPECTATORS
Spectators should remain outside of the track and field competition areas at all times. Athletes and coaches should also avoid crossing the finish line when they're not competing and another race is in progress, as this may interfere with the photofinish.

SAFETY
Long throws are included in the event programme, so under no circumstances should anyone take a short cut across the infield.

VOLUNTEERS
It takes a lot of volunteers to ensure the smooth running of athletics competitions. Falkirk are looking for a few more parent helpers. If you are available to help, please speak to Ian tomorrow morning.
