Livingston Parkrun - Volunteers Required

A group of local volunteers supported by Lothian Running Club, Livingston AC, West Lothian Athletic Partnership, West Lothian Triathlon and West Lothian Council Community Development are working to establish a parkrun event in Livingston
It is proposed to organise a weekly parkrun in Almondvale Park using the footpaths in the park and those alongside the River Almond to the west of the park.
What is Parkrun?
It's Free - Running in a parkrun event is totally free. You don't pay to run, ever. And every event is organised by a group of local volunteers.
Its' For Everyone - Whether you're young or old, male or female, fit or unfit, able-bodied or not, you're always welcome. It's not about racing, it's about running.
It's Forever - So long as we have our fantastic volunteers and backers to make it happen, our events will always be free and everyone will always be welcome!
The proposed Livingston parkrun will be an opportunity for participants to have access to a regular, free, 5K, timed run and also provide an opportunity for local volunteers to support the parkrun.
Funds have been committed from the supporting local organisations to enable the parkrun to start in January 2016.
The local volunteer steering group that is organising the event are now recruiting the team of volunteers that can help at the event.
They will need 12-15 volunteers each Saturday to help from 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM. The more helpers they have then the roles can be shared from week to week. All helpers will be briefed and trained as required.
To get the final approval from Parkrun UK, the organising group need to have volunteers in place for every Saturday in January. If you are able to help on any Saturday morning in January, please use the links below to sign-up.
Please include your name, parkrun ID (if available) and any preferred role - Marshal (6), Timekeeper (2), Numbers & Numbers Assistant (2), Barcode Operators/collector(2), Tail Runner, Funnel Manager and Run Director.
