Fifteen Livingston athletes were at Lornshill Academy in Alloa last weekend for the second round in the East District Cross Country League.
In the u11 girls race, on a 1.6K course, Sophie Ure and Eve Neally were making their East League Cross Country debuts for the club. Sophie finished 27th in 7:52 and Eve finished 50th in 9:39.
The u11 boys were also running the same 1.6K course. Elliot Frame finished 32nd in a time of 7:14 and Euan MacIver, also making his league debut for the club, finished 38th in 7:30.
Four u13 girls were running in the 2.7K u13 girls race. Isla Calvert finished 3rd in 11:53, Rachel Gibb was 27th in 13:14, Iona McDonald was 50th in 14:23 and Holly White was 69th in 16:24. Overall the girls were 6th in the team rankings with 80 points!
In the u13 boys race, also run on the 2.7K course, Aidan Brady was 38th in 12:49, Alastair Marshall was 46th in 13:23 and Fraser Morris was 51st in 13:46. The boys also scored in the team rankings with 135 points placing them 11th!
The u15 girls and u17 women raced together on a 3.7K course. Sarah Calvert was 8th u15 girl in 16:06 and Heather Scott was 50th u15 girl in 26:40.
Alastair White was the club's sole competitor in the u17 mens race. Alastair finished the 5.6K course in 28th place with a time of 27:54.
There was also just one athlete from the club in the 8.2K u20/senior/masters mens race with Ryan White finishing 146th overall in 40:54.
The third and final race in the East District League takes place closed to home at Broxburn on Saturday 17th January.
