About

Welcome to Livingston Athletic Club.

We are West Lothian's track & field athletics club, founded in 1972, based at Craigswood Sports Centre, Livingston, and affiliated to Scottish Athletics with Podium level accreditation.

The purpose of the club is to provide an opportunity to participate in athletics, with a coaching structure which supports the continuous improvement of athletes, combined with appropriate competition for all club members.

We are a community club, run by parents, coaches and senior athletes.

As a testament to our success, the club was a nominee for "Impact Club of the Year" at the Scottish Athletics 2015 and 2018 Annual Awards. More recently, we were Club of the Year finalist at the West Lothian 2017 Celebrating Sport Awards, and winner at the 2018 awards.

Primarily we are a track and field athletics club, with indoor competitions during the winter season and outdoor competitions during the summer season. Many athletes also do cross country running during the winter season.

At the main athletics club, we welcome athletes, who compete at all standards, from age 9 upwards.

For primary school children, we also run our popular "Run + Jump + Throw Club" with 8-12 week blocks in each school term.

Adults of all abilities can join our jogging groups, and we also organise "Couch to 5K" courses during the year.

Livingston Athletic Club (Livingston AC) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, No: SC046189.
