The club's East District medal winners were on top form once again at the Scottish Schools Track & Field Championships, held last Friday and Saturday at Grangemouth.

In the Under 15 Boys High Jump, Matthew Thomson jumped 1.70m to gain a silver medal and a personal best. Impressively, Matthew jumped the same height as the winner and was unlucky to lose first place on a "count back".

The other medal winner was Craig McDowall in the Under 17 Mens 800m. Finishing a comfortable first in his heat, Craig went on to run 2:00.42 in the final, picking up a silver medal in the process.

Other highlights from the event include Aisling Dennis finishing 8th in the final of the Under 17 Womens High Jump, and Vicky Dalziel finishing 6th with a personal best of 21.72m in the Under 15 Girls Discus.
