The final meeting of the Forth Valley League got underway on Saturday at Pitreavie Stadium, with thirteen Livingston athletes selected to represent the three teams; Division 1 Select, Division 2 Select and President's Select.

The match was won convincingly by the President's Select team, with their score of 414 points putting them 61 points ahead of the Division 1 team in second place.

Congratulations to the seven Livingston athletes in the winning team; Matthew Thomson, Scott Henderson, Daniel Fulton, Calum McLean, Callum McDonald, Vicky Dalziel and Shona Herron.

Match highlights for the Livingston athletes in the track events included; Vicky Dalziel's 2nd place finish in the U15 Girls 75m Hurdles; Callum McDonald, 3rd place in the U11 Boys 100m; Daniel Fulton, a personal best of 59.34 and 3rd place in the U15 Boys 400m; and Megan Laing, 2nd place and a personal best of 2:51.78 in the U11 Girls 800m.

In the field events, Matthew Thomson was just 1cm away from equalling his personal best with his 1st place jump of 1.70m in the U15 Boys High Jump, while Vicky Dalziel won the U15 Girls Shot Putt, adding 13cm to her personal best with a throw of 9.61m.
