East District XC Championship Results

The East District Cross Country Championships were held at Piperdam, Dundee, on Saturday 7 December, with 13 Livingston athletes competing.

Congratulations to the three Livingston medallists: Rowan Whitworth (1st U13 Boys), Andrew McGill (1st U17 Men) and Isla Calvert (2nd U17 Women).

In the 3.2K U13 Girls race, Mia Sokoluk was 17th in 13:43 and Imogen Marshall was 55th in 16:13.

Rowan Whitworth won the 3.2K U13 Boys race in 11:27 with a lead of 15 seconds over second place.

In the 4K U13 Boys race, Logan Beagley was 11th in 15:09 and Elliot Frame was 21st in 15:49.

Isla Cavlert was second in the 5.7K U17 Womens race in 22:12, with Shannon Prevost 19th in 25:54.

The U17 Mens race was won by Andrew McGill, with Andrew completing the 5.7K course in 19:10, 3 seconds ahead of the second place athlete. Jonathan Marshall was 27th in the race in 22:51.

Sarah Calvert was 7th in 26:13 in the 6.4K U20 Womens race, with Katie Craig 10th in 27:06.

In the U20 Mens race, also on a 6.4K course, Cameron Tweedie was 33rd in 28:41.
