Massive congratulations to Sarah Calvert, the new British 1500m Champion!

The UK Athletics Championships took place last weekend at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, and Sarah delivered an unforgettable performance.

In Saturday's heats, she ran a strong 4:16.78 to place third and comfortably book her spot in Sunday's final.

And what a final it was! In a thrilling sprint finish, Sarah edged out Olympic medallist Laura Muir by just five hundredths of a second to take the gold medal and claim the national title.
