Entries are open for Round 1 of the Forth Valley League at Grangemouth Stadium on Saturday 18 April.

The league is suitable for all Club/RJT athletes born between 2011 and 2016. If you’ve competed at Craigswood, this is a great next step.

Availability

All athletes must complete the availability form, including if not available. This avoids volunteers needing to chase responses.

The deadline to confirm availability is midnight on Friday 10 April.

Parent Helpers

Parent helpers are required at every match. To compete in the league, the club must provide volunteers to support officials.

We also need parents to assist team managers and coaches with organising athletes on the day.

If you are able to help, please add a note on the availability form along with your preferred role (officials or team support).

Selection

Once availability has closed, team managers will review coach feedback and select teams.

This is a team competition with:

• 2 athletes per event, per age group, per club
• A limited range of events

As a result:

• Athletes will usually compete in 1–2 events
• Events may not always be their preferred events

In some age groups, we may not be able to offer places to everyone. However, in most cases we need more athletes than are available, so there is usually space for those who wish to take part.

Selection focuses on participation and being part of the team, with places allocated as fairly as possible.

Team sheets and final arrangements will be emailed later in the week leading up to the competition.

Transport

If you need help with transport, we will try to assist with organising car sharing. Please add a note on the availability form.

U14: Born 2013 or 2014
U16: Born 2011 or 2012
