Congratulations to Livingston AC athlete Sarah Calvert, who successfully defended her British 1500m title at the 2026 UK Athletics Championships in Birmingham on 20-21 June.

Sarah safely negotiated Saturday's qualifying heat, finishing second in 4:13.08 to secure her place in Sunday's final.

In the final, Sarah produced another outstanding performance to retain her national title, crossing the line first in 4:07.82 to once again become British Champion over 1500m.

Successfully defending a national title is a tremendous achievement, and everyone at Livingston AC is incredibly proud of Sarah's continued success on the national stage.
