The Scottish Athletics National Open Meeting is taking place on the weekend of 7th/8th May. This event replaces the District/Closed Championships from previous seasons.

A provisional timetable with event listing is available below. The U16 events take place on the Saturday along with most of the U18 events. On the Sunday there is a few U18 events and the U20/Senior events.

For all Scottish Athletics championships and open meetings the club submit entries and pay entry fees - please contact Alistair before the closing date, Friday 22nd April, to enter.

For athletes competing regularly in league matches this is an excellent opportunity for an extra competition and a competitive race with all events seeded by standard.

During 2011, for all Scottish Athletics Championships/Open Meetings, Scottish Athletics will be trialling the IAAF age groups (U14/U16/U18/U20). Please note that league, club, schools and open competitions are NOT affected. This trial only affects athletes taking part in Scottish Athletics Championships/Open Meetings.
